Happy Birthday Luke

Today is my baby's first birthday. I just can't believe it is here already. What a year it has been too. I thank the Lord for giving me such sweet boys. They can be a handful, but I wouldn't trade them for anything.

Tomorrow we are having a small family birthday party for him. The inlaws are coming tonight and the rest of the family will be here tomorrow.

Isaac and I sang Happy Birthday to him this morning and he thought we were crazy.

New Background

Everyone that knows me knows that I love purple. So, when I saw this template, I had to have it. Then, I felt like I needed to post something. Too bad, I have nothing to say. Slow day around here today. Straightened up the house and went to the grocery store. Same ole stuff.

I tried to make a few cards tonight but I just didn't have it in me. Could be because Luke was crying at my feet and Isaac was trying to sit on top of me.

I didn't go to church tonight because Isaac doesn't feel good. When that boy lays on the couch with a blanket of his own accord, you know he doesn't feel right. So, Matt went and I stayed with the boys.

Hopefully tomorrow Isaac will feel better. Better be off to bed in case he is sick tonight.

Home Again

I am home again after visiting family and friends in Indy. It was nice to go back and see everyone. Really good to be back at Faith for church. I need to make the effort to go back more often. Hard to do though with Isaac in preschool now. It felt good to be able to talk to friends in person instead of on the phone or internet. I loved being able to spend time with my mom. I miss everyone. : (

We celebrated Luke's birthday. Kelly was nice enough to let me book her house. Man, did he love cake. Risa got this pic of him:
But, what doesn't the boy love food wise? I can't believe he will be one. Time just flies by. Makes me realize how much I need to cherish every single day with my boys. I am so lucky to be able to be at home with them now.

Name Frame

Nothing interesting happening here today. Isaac went back to school. Why they had the preschool go back to school for one day and then get 3 days off is beyond me. He didn't want to listen today. Big shocker. Hopefully, someday soon, it will click somewhere in him that he needs to listen at school. Oh, and with potty-training too. Anyway, I am itching to scrapbook. However, I just can't take Luke down in the basement with me. It is way too cold down there. So, I dug around on my computer and found something I made a while ago.

June is a big month for us. There is my mom's birthday, Matt's mom's birthday, my parent's anniversary, our anniversary, and a few friends birthdays also. Anyway, for our moms' birthdays I decided to make name frames for them.



I bought the frames at Walmart. The cardstock and stamps are all SU. It is amazing how their hands have grown just since June. : (

Bored, bored, bored

Well, I must be pretty bored to actually start a blog. However, as much time as I spend in front of this stupid computer, I may as well do something fun. And maybe I will actually remember to post on this. Cause the last time I cracked open my journal I believe it was October. Shameful.
So, this is just my little corner. Somewhere for me to talk about my boys, my husband, my life, maybe even share some scrappin' projects. Well, when it gets warmer anyway. My basement has subzero temperatures right now.
